Dylan Farwell is a 2016 C/UT with a 5-8 195 lb. frame from South Bend, IN who attends Marian. Medium frame, thick build. Open stance with an upright set. Quiet lower half actions and tends to hit off a tall front side. BP and game were consistent with a mid-field approach. Shows a level swing plane that results in ground ball/ line drive contact. Shows a tendency to be extended at contact and quickly in and out of hitting zone. Creates good direction on throws from behind the plate. Topped at 65 mph, best pop 2.32. Deliberate footwork and release on throws. Receives the ball well within body frame. Has some range to each side. Tools will develop with continued strength and fluidity.
