Bret Spencer is a 2007 RHP/OF/1B from Northville, MI with a large thick frame and good strength throughout at 6-3, 200 lbs. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot and he stays tall throughout the delivery. He gets a good downward plane on his 80 mph fastball. His curveball has a nice tight spin with an 11-5 tilt. His change-up is his best pitch showing very good sink and fade. Defensively, he has good actions. He has a strong arm with good carry across the infield. He has a slightly lofted swing plane with good bat speed. He has potential home run power and he was one of the top hitters at the event. He is a very good all around player and a must follow for 2007. Bret is a good student.
