Cole Phillips is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Centennial HS. The two way player has a tall frame with a lean and athletic build. Average runner. On the mound he has raw actions that start with short leg lift, low separation in to his arm swing, short arm action to 3/4 release point. Strides direct to the plate and creates downhill plane at release point. Four seam fastball up to 78mph and had some inconsistent command. Curveball with 11/5 arc at 68mph has good depth and showed a developing feel for the pitch. In the outfield he has a good firsts step to the ball, works through the ball and has a long loose arm action. At the plate he has a square stance, starts the swing with quick load to back side, has good barrel speed and approach while hitting balls to the middle and opposite fields. Outstanding student.
