Andre Macedo is a 2017 3B/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Navarre, FL who attends Navarre HS. Medium frame, lean athletic build with some room to fill out. Right handed hitter, deeper hand position with aggressive hand load. Toe-tap timing mechanism, has solid bat speed, able to get through well, solid hand quickness and rhythm. Line drive swing plane, flashes extension, solid contact to the pullside and up the middle. Strong arm at third base, developing footwork can cause throws to sail. Also pitches, leg lift delivery with some small hip turn and coil at height of lift. High lead and frontside arm, works over frontside well, gets to a high 3/4's arm slot with long, loose arm-action. Fastball up to 80 mph, shows slight cutting action and has riding life up in the strike zone. Slider comes out of similar plane, has solid deception and later break with 11/5 slicing shape and slight depth. Good student.
