Quinten Romo is a 2019 3B/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-1 183 lb. frame from Wellington, FL who attends Palm Beach Central. Larger frame, lean athletic build with high torso. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance. Hand drop trigger, shows strength and some feel for barrel, ability to get bat through the zone with longer swing path. Uphill plane, lofts the ball, shows developing power to the pullside. Moves well to the ball in the infield, stops momentum slightly and could work through ball more consistently, has soft hands, accurate arm across diamond. Also pitches, small measuredsteps into windup with leg lift just above the belt. Longer arm-action with pause backside, accelerates through the zone, works to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball up to 75 mph, ability to throw for strikes, still fine-tuning command. Also has breaking ball with 11/5 shape, flashes sharp late bite when on top and extended. Flashed rare changeup in upper-60s.
