Clark Dearman is a 2018 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Cath. Medium build, lean and athletic frame, primary lefthanded pitcher. Worked exclusively from the stretch, online and repeatable delivery, loose arm action, arm works well to an extended low 3/4 arm slot, lands slightly closed, gets good extension finishing out over front foot well carrying weight and momentum down hill after release. Fastball showed good riding life to armside, creates plane, kept the ball down in the zone, baseball jumped out of his hand frequently, was not afraid to challenge hitters inside with the fastball, fastball topped out at 84 mph and sat in the low-80s. Mixed in a tight curveball with good depth, spotted up curveball well, also mixed a fading changeup, maintained good arm speed on both secondary pitches, Excellent student.
