Coleman Picard is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Auburn, MA who attends Auburn. Large frame with athletic, lean build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.57 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, clean delivery with good tempo, compact arm stroke hidden well through the bak, releases from ear, fastball worked 81-85 mph with lots of strikes and late life. Worked in sharp, tight-spinning curveball as well as good fading changeup to lefthanded hitters. Attacked hitters well and competed. Hits from slightly open stance with hands set high, has bat speed and leverage to stroke, consistently drove the ball well on a line. Took defensive reps in the outfield, attacks the ball well and shows athletic balance to actions, fields cleanly and works through, gets off quick release, clocked up to 86 mph. Very good student, named to 2018 Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
