Justice Thompson is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-5 175 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends King HS. Very long and lean build, lots of physical projection if he can get stronger. Right handed hitter, spread straight stance with a limited shift into contact, rotational swing, stays balanced and on time well and squares up the ball consistently, still developing the strength to drive the ball but flashes some hard pull contact. Very good runner, 6.67 in the sixty. Long and clean arm action in the outfield, ball comes out of his hand easy, has coordinated defensive actions. Shows some potential on the mound. Easy and fluid delivery, long and loose arm action in back, high 3/4's arm slot with an extended release and good downhill plane. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight but thrown to spots. Showed good feel for throwing his curveball for strikes and using it in tandem with his fastball. Might evolve into a primary pitcher as he gets stronger. Good student.
