Edgar Delgado is a 2017 RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Miami Lakes, FL who attends Archbishop Edward McCarthy. Extra-large frame, broad shoulders with sturdy, athletic build and solid physical projection remaining. High leg lift delivery, works to a higher 3/4's arm slot, shows ability to get extended over front side while staying short, compact on the backside. Fastball up to 81 mph, solid sinking life and heavy action to it. Flashed curveball with varied 11/5 to 10/4 shape, shows quality depth and can keep hitters off balance. Also displayed feel for changeup, small fading action on pitch. Competed well and kept hitters off balance, some deception in delivery with moving parts. Good student.
