Garrett Kocis is a 2017 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard West HS. Very nice athletic build, long and loose with plus physical projection. Two way prospect who might grade out better as a pitcher at present. Left handed hitter with a bat waggle load, uses his hands to hit, attacks the ball aggressively, has some swing and miss in his swing due to the hand timer but has big power and good bat speed when squared up. 7.30 runner, sound infield actions and good arm strength but can improve his exchange and release. Easy delivery on the mound with a loose arm, flashes the ability to power the ball downhill with good life. Fastball topped at 85 and there is plenty more in there. Tended to shorten his arm arch on his curveball but showed good spin at times, attacks hitters aggressively. Young multi-tooled player who should keep improving. Very good student.
