Caleb Ellis is a 2018 OF/MIF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Etiwanda, CA who attends Servite. Medium frame with a lean build. Primary outfielder with aggressive, athletic footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels baseball to side and works through exchange quickly. Released from a slightly lower three-quarters arm slot generated some on line carry to the bag at 79 miles per hour. Switch hitter with a spread, even stance and simple front side trigger. Created some linear shift into contact with lower half. Displayed good feel for the zone with a line drive barrel plane. Maintained balance from each side of the plate with the ability to consistently barrel the baseball.
