Brooks Rikeman is a 2019 C/2B/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Winter Park, FL who attends Orangewood Christian HS. Medium frame with athletic present build; solid projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.61 seconds. Sets up to hit from wide-based and slightly open stance; loads hands back deep, shows good leverage in swing, consistently got the barrel out on time with quality bat speed and drove the ball on a line to all fields. Primary catcher; shows clean actions through receiving and ability to transfer quickly while gaining ground; popped as low as 2.09 seconds. Also worked out in the outfield, showed athletic actions moving in on the ball, gets around the ball well and works through it. Showed accurate arm; throws topped at 80 mph. Very good student.
