Josh Guilmart is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Litchfield, CT who attends Avon Old Farms High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 6.92 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a clean transfer, extended release, athletic overall actions, and arm strength up to 86 mph with carry out of the hand. At the plate, showed a deeper hand load and an upper half dominant swing. Longer swing at present, got hands through the zone and made consistent contact off the barrel to all fields. Will continue to improve at the plate with additional lower half and strength. Exceptional student.
