Erick Miranda is a 2015 SSwith a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Astoria, Queens, NY who attends Colegio La Altagracia. Miranda has a large athletic frame. Has present strength in body, with a solid lower half, hits from a wide base with a line drive swing plane with pull side contact. Has loose hands with some quickness through zone. Finds barrel regularly. Defensively, plus arm strength across diamond with good carry when on top of throws. Shows good actions with feet and hands attacking baseball, relays on arm strength, which is plus tool, ball carried when on top of ball but showed ability to be accurate from multiple slots. Outstanding Student.
