2017 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Camron Gardner is a 2019 1B/3B, IF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Townsend, GA who attends Frederica Academy. Large build, mature frame with broad shoulders, present strength throughout especially in the lower half. Ran a 7.58 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, sits back on baseball with fluid actions into gather, clean and smooth hands leading to a solid release, full arm action into throws, developing arm strength showing good accuracy. Righthanded hitter, open stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, leg kick trigger, strong hands with strength driven bat speed, bat wrap at load uncoiling leading to the point of contact, solid barrel control with a slight lift in the barrel plane, patient approach showing the ability to hit to all fields with loud contact.
