2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Keith Copeland is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B, MIF, OF, UT with a 6-4 155 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Recorded a 6.95 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lanky frame with a slender build and plenty of room to fill out. Primary infielder with a developing defensive skill set and plenty of projection remaining. Implores slight waist bend to field out in front, while exhibiting segmented lower half movements into the throwing position. Uses long strides to move laterally to either side, changes arm slots when needed and recorded developing arm strength up to 77 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide base with a tight hand set, low and deep hand load, and toe-tap trigger. Developing bat-to-ball skills with quick, inside hand path that causes his barrel to leave the hitting zone too quickly. Rhythmic stroke with compact bat speed and some leverage when on-time and in-sync. Developing prospect with high upside and plenty of physical projection remaining, will continue to improve as he refine his skill set and adds strength.
