Kendric Jernigan is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Warner Robins, GA who attends Warner Robins. Large frame with a lean, athletic type build. Ran a 7.49 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, good first step actions as he takes efficient routes to the baseball. Rounds it smoothly and then gathers out front. Scoops it up and then works into transfers. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 76 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a balanced base and high hands behind the ear. Quiet mechanics as he loads up before transferring weight into swing. Strength in the hands present as he generated easy bat speed. Linear swing path while proving he can drive it to all fields. Proved to have some power to the pull-side as well when he got extended. Mechanically sound swing that will continue to make progressions as he develops. Outstanding Student.
