Anthony Davis is a 2020 SS with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Germantown, TN who attends Christian Brothers HS. Medium frame with young, slender present build; body projects well. Sets up to hit from even-based stance, upright, hands set high, toe tap trigger, bars hands back into load, shows quickness to trigger to launch swing. Line drive swing plane, smoothness to barrel path through the zone, shows good feel for making contact, will drive the ball better with increases in strength. Good whole-field approach. Worked out in the infield; moves well to both sides, solid fundamentals with glovework and funnel, shows ease to transfer and release, good accuracy across the diamond. Very good student.
