Alexander Decker is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Kettering, OH who attends Kettering Fairmont HS. Strong athletic build with a high waist and slopped shoulders. Multi-part delivery with a hand drop start, hides the ball behind his body well and creates some deception, medium effort on release, over the top arm slot. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight. Uses his change up frequently and has good command and feel for it, tends to be straight and firm and blend in with his lower velocity fastballs. Rare slider as his third pitch. Throws strikes and pitches to contact. Will need to find fastball/change up movement and develop a breaking ball to take the next step. Excellent student, signed with Army.
