Marcus Salvato is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Wheat Ridge, CO who attends Mullen HS. Shorter young build, has some hidden strength. 7.10 runner, active feet on defense with good fundamental actions, sets himself up well behind the ball and fields it cleanly, accurate throws, second base profile and tools now but like his actions and quickness. Left handed hitter, his quick hands carry over to his swing, has barrel control and squares up the ball consistently, relaxed and loose swing, nice extended finish, smooth swing with good extension. Nice young player who plays above his size.
