Jack Reitsma is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Visalia, CA who attends Central Valley Christian HS. Reitsma has a long lean build with solid projection in frame. Good pitching body, Long arm action with a slight stab in back, but arm circle has smoothness to it. Good extension out front with good plane to the plate with fastball that showed life. Mixed in curveball that showed developing shape and bite. Flashed mostly 12/6 shape, had feel throwing it for a strike. Showed one change up. Good upside on the mound. Hit from a square stance with a lower hand set. Line drive swing plane with a mid field approach. Ball jumps when centered. Defensively, loose arm action, clean transfer and release. Good Student.
