2015 West Coast Underclass Showcase
Tim Maguire is a 2017 OF/1B with a 6-1 186 lb. frame from Villa Park, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Large frame, broad shoulders with lean athletic build, still has room to fill out. Right handed hitter, high hands and high back elbow, upright stance and setup. Small weight shift, upper-half rotational swing with longer swing path. Shows solid strength off of the barrel when squared, can work to the middle of the field effectively when extended. Primary outfielder, works well to the ball. Full, extended arm-action with developing arm strength. Fields out in front, stays tall at release, gathers feet well and has solid overall fundamentals. Excellent student.
