Tegan Woods is a 2018 SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Freeport, IL who attends Freeport HS. Large frame with lean, athletic present build; good projection remaining throughout. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Sets up to hit from wide-based, even stance with small stride to trigger. Leans back into load, bars hands back, shows good whip to barrel at times on line drive swing plane, stays committed to the middle of the field through approach. Showed good ability to work to all fields on a line, covers plate well with barrel. Worked out in the infield. Clean funnel out front with good hand actions, smoothness throughout actions, very quick and clean transfer with good balance to footwork, quick release across the diamond with arm strength clocked up to 79 mph. Very good student.
