Jack Anderson is a 2018 OF/SS with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Glenview, IL who attends Glenbrook South. Large frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.31 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, creates good momentum while working through the baseball into a small crow hop. Clean glove actions while funneling with smooth exchanges while working through transfer. Extended arm cirlce at separation and releases from a three-quarters slot topping at 82 mph. Throws produced on line, accurate carry to the bag. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and toe tap trigger. Creates solid torque at load with front side coil. Aggresive torso rotation to contact creating a linear plane through the zone. Shows smoothness and fluidity with barrel through the zone as well. Primarily used a mid-field, line drive approach but flashed the ability to work the baseball to all fields. Generated some carry and backspin to the gaps when creating extension out front. Tools will continue to develop offensive and defensively with continued physical development.
