2015 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Christian Cabney is a 2017 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Sioux City, IA who attends East HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Simple turn and throw delivery, compact arm action with a tight 3/4's release, hides ball well. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, mostly straight. Soft curveball with a short break, developing change up. Right handed hitter, busy feet in the box, short contact oriented line drive swing, handled the barrel well and made consistent contact to all fields. Good student.
