Michael Hojnacki is a 2017 RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MO who attends Marquette HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. High 3/4's arm slot, limited lower half turn and use in his delivery, will have to make mechanical adjustments to get the ball down in the zone consistently. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph early, gets occasional cut on his fastball when down in the zone. Soft curveball, arm action is not conducive to throwing a curveball and may have to go to a slider. Flashed a developing change up. Very good student, verbal commitment to Bradley.
