Jake Babuschak is a 2020 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Jobstown, NJ who attends Northern Burlington. Recorded a 5.33 second 40-yard dash time. Large frame with a big physical build and lots of strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with good tempo to his delivery and repeats it well. Clean take out of the glove through a clean arm circle and leads to a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped at 82 mph with good run to the arm side. Good command of the strike zone and mixed three pitches well. Curveball had good depth and steady 12/6 break from a similar fastball plane. Slider had good lateral movement and maintained arm speed well on the changeup. Arm strength played well from secondary position of the outfield. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance, high hand set, and high back elbow. Leveraging hard and looking to pull. Creates strength off the barrel and opens up early to get to the pull side. Good student.
