Carson Weekley is a 2018 3B/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Preparatory High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted an impressive 6.88 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary third basemen, moved well to balls up the middle with good agility to both sides. Developing transfer and release with arm strength up to 83 mph. At the plate, started with a wide base, open stance, and a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Deeper hand load and gets lower half into swing with torque. Barrel works up to ball with a positive launch and a line drive swing plane. Gap-to-gap power and flashed bat speed. Will continue to improve at the plate with improved rhythm and timing. Exceptional student.
