Griffin Livesay is a 2018 MIF/OF, C, RHP with a 6-0 152 lb. frame from Rockford, TN who attends Alcoa High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, square shoulders, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.08 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, showed a long arm action, athletic through the ball, got in a good position to field, with good accuracy. Arm strength up to 81 mph across the infield. At the plate, started with a wide base, high hand set, and a simple stride to the ball. Hands worked directly to the ball with a linear swing plane. Developing feel for timing and raw bat speed. Approach worked all fields and flashed extension. Also pitched, started with a leg lift past belt, tall on backside, long arm action through the back, open landing down the mound, and threw from a three quarter arm slot. Showed whip to arm action, creating slight deception. Fastball worked 76-79 mph with sink to the lower third and was aggressive with the pitch. Also showed a curveball with developing feel for spin and depth at 70 mph. Good student.
