Dylan Vanderlip is a 2017 OF/3B with a 5-9 157 lb. frame from Santan Valley, AZ who attends Poston Butte High School. Younger build with a lean, slender frame and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 6.82 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed a short arm action with a longer release and good accuracy to the bag with developing arm strength. At the plate, started with a wide base, high hand set, high back elbow and sound weight shift into contact. Simple swing to the ball with a line drive swing plane that will see better results with additional strength. Good student.
