Jacob Quigley is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Heathrow, FL who attends The Masters Academy. Big frame with a strong physical build and broad shoulders. Ran a 6.70 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Good reads off the bat. Smooth glove work with a clean transfer. Accuracy is on line with good arm strength to the bag. Throws topping out at 81 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a an open stance and a big stride for timing. Lean back load into hard swing. Hands are quick to the ball with a middle of the field to pull side approach. Line drive bat path with ability to consistently put the barrel on the ball. Lefthanded pitcher with a side step delivery and leg lift slightly above the belt. Stays in line with the plate when driving down the mound. Releases from a three-quarters arm slot. Lands a sweeping 11-to-5 curveball for strikes. Fastball with some occasional cut sitting in the mid 70's and topping out at 77 miles per hour. Commanded pitches well and shows good feel for the breaking ball. Excellent student as well.
