Brandon Hauswald is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Jackson, TN who attends University School Of Jackson. Compact frame, strong-sturdy build. Solid athleticism and burst, ran a 6.91 60-yard dash. Switch hitter, slightly open stance from both sides, uses line-drive path and balanced, contact-oriented approach. Flashes solid bat speed from both sides, looks more fluid and able to get more consistent extension from left side. Doesn't try to do too much, has confidence and comfort in using the entire field. Moves well to ball in the middle infield, has smooth actions and is light on his feet. Has solid lateral quickness and range, shows ability to make accurate throws from all angles. Good student. Named to Ohio Valley Top Prospect Team.
