Tre Turner is a 2016 OF with a 5-10 187 lb. frame from Slidell, LA who attends Holy Cross HS. Strong and very athletic build. Only played in the games but impressed with his strength and athleticism, especially on offense. Right handed hitter with very good strength in his swing, simple hitting mechanics, hands work well to the ball and he stays directional, ball comes off the barrel well, still young in his pitch recognition but the hitting tools are there. Looked solid in the outfield with a strong throwing arm. Two-sport standout who is verbally committed to play both football (running back with a 4.33 forty to his credit) and baseball at Arizona State.
