Donald Pearson is a 2017 RHP/2B with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Beecher, IL who attends Beecher HS. Very slender young build, minimal present strength. Well paced on line delivery, has some drop and drive to the plate, full long and loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot, sound overall delivery mechanics. Fastball topped out at 68 mph, gets some running and sinking action, works down in the zone well and misses low when he misses. Soft curveball with occasional depth, better spin the harder he throws it, developing change up. Has an idea how to pitch and competes, just a matter of gaining strength. Good student.
