Nicolas Mangia is a 2016 OF/MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Herricks HS. Medium, athletic, lean build with more room to add strength. Ran a 5.24 40 yard dash. Has a compact throwing action from the outfield and works through the ball consistently. Shows carry on his throws and is accurate with solid arm strength. Bats left-handed, works from a slightly open, simple setup. Hands work very quickly and has repeatable swing mechanics. Hits hard line drives to the middle of the field and stays compact to the ball. Good student.
