Ethan Tressler is a 2017 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Gallatin, TN who attends Davidson Academy. Medium build, has some present strength for his age. Long loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot, upper body rotational delivery, can get more use of his lower half to generate power to the plate. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, lots of sink and arm side running action, gets lots of ground ball outs from his fastball. Upper 60's curveball showed good spin and flashed late biting action, did not observe a change up. 7.49 runner, fields the ball out front well, can throw from multiple angles in the infield, accurate throws. Right handed hitter, upper half rotational swing, stays short and direct to the ball, upper hand dominant swing, line drive contact. Very good student.
