Jonathon Davis is a 2015 OF/SS, RHP, 2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Cedar Hill, TX who attends Cedar Hill. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and nice present strength on frame. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows athletic actions to the ball, live arm with the ball coming out cleanly from a high three-quarter arm slot with strength on throws. Works through the ball in the infield well, nice carry with strength on throws across from a quick arm action. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm action with a full arm action in the back. Some effort at release, gets fastball down in the zone, topping out at 79 mph with some life down in the zone and showed a feel for a tight spinning, 11-5 curveball at 62 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set at start of swing and uses a toe tap trigger for timing. Short swing path to the ball and through the zone, gets the barrel through the zone and shows the ability to hit to all fields, recognizes spin during in game at bats, strength projects well in swing.
