Joshua Fradin is a 2016 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from East Greenwich, RI who attends East Greenwich. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and twitch to frame. Ran a 6.87 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front, longer release with accuracy across from a lower arm slot, collects well behind the ball. Short arm action from the outfield, big crow hop before release to gain some momentum, works behind the ball, consistently gets on top of the ball and shows some carry out of hand. Right-handed hitter, starts with a balanced approach in the box and a medium hand set. Pulls hands back at start of swing, line drive plane with nice line drive contact off the barrel to pull side. Upper body swing, begins slightly open and gets closed at contact. Shows balance throughout, nice carry off the barrel to left field with bat speed through the zone, shows ability to hit to opposite field. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
