Harrison Bailey is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Parkville, MO who attends Park Hill South. Large build with lots of strength potential. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a low hand start, doesn't always get to square with the pitcher, gets to his front side early with a contact approach, mid to opposite field approach and handled the barrel well, has the strength to drive the ball when he stays back and turns on the ball. 8.06 runner, showed good game actions and hands at first base defensively, was aggressive attacking the ball in the outfield in drills. Also pitched, worked from the stretch with a simple low effort tall delivery, mid 3/4's arm slot. Works fastball/change up exclusively and pretty much hit every velocity spot between 63 and 77 mph, gets nice sinking action and throws strikes, ground ball pitcher who executes his style well. Good student.
