Milan Suarez is a 2018 C/ with a 6-1 197 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Westminster Christian. Large frame, mature build with present strength. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance, high hands tight to body in setup. Quiet hands, minimal load, medium stride can be late occasionally. Shows good strength, hits off of backside, looks to lift the ball with slightly uphill swing plane. Solid contact when lower half in rhythm, on-time. Most comfortable, consistent when working to the opposite field or up the middle, stays inside the baseball. Primary catcher, looks the part behind the plate. Developing footwork and direction, has quick hands and transfer with some arm strength, popped as low as 2.10 seconds in defensive workouts. Good student.
