Cody Rose is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Trenton, OH who attends Edgewood HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with room for more. Compact arm action with a quick exchange, accurate throws, moves his feet well and has lower half quickness, can get hands in better position when receiving, developing arm strength, 2.07 best pop time. Right handed hitter, narrow stance, rotational upper half swing from a still hand start, has some strength and bat speed, good extension out front, aggressive and stays on the ball well, can improve with better rhythm and timing to start swing. Very good student.
