Mikayle Holloway is a 2016 OF with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Middletown, DE who attends Appoquinimink. Strong, athletic build with broad shoulders and present strength throughout build. Primary outfielder, moves well to the ball and shows extension out front with accuracy to the bag. Getting on top of throws will help improve carry, lower arm slot with a full arm action coming through the back side with present strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set and an open stance. Short and direct path to the ball, uses strength well and generates loud contact off the barrel. Upper body swing with extension out front, shows nice contact skills and has the ability to backspin the ball to pull side. Good student.
