Michael White is a 2016 RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Stamford, CT who attends Canterbury HS. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders, long limbs, and sound present strength throughout frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with a shorter arm action through the back side coming up to a high three-quarter release point. Balanced delivery, stays tall on back leg and drives towards plate with acceleration coming through and works over front side well, lands open with front foot. Gets on top of fastball, topped out at 85 mph with consistent cutting life and showed ability to locate to either side of the plate. Maintains out of stretch well, quick and clean arm action. Curveball shows tight rotation with 12-6 shape and depth when on top of the pitch at 73 mph. Flashed a straight changeup at 75 mph to round out repertoire. Named to Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
