2016 PG Underclass All American Games
Anthony Sasso is a 2018 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ who attends Toms River North HS. Compact barrel chested build, strong look. Big leg raise delivery, maintains balance over rubber well, high 3/4's arm slot. Strong ability to spin the ball, curveball showed good spin and 11/5 shape, changes the hitter's eye level well, slider has some bite and tilt as well. Commanded breaking balls better than his fastball this outing. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, mostly straight, has been up to 88 mph this summer at PG events. Type of pitcher who can work off his secondary pitches with better fastball command. Excellent student.
