Andrew Evans is a 2017 OF/MIF with a 6-0 151 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Dulles. Evans has a large projectable build, has plenty of room to add strength to is large frame. Hits from both sides of the plate, from the right side, starts with a spread stance and high hands, leg lift trigger to start his line drive swing, has developing bat speed with solid ground ball contact, from the left side, more upright, leg lift trigger to start line drive swing plane, pull contact, consistent contact. Tools are developing from left side. Defensively, long arm action with good carry on throws. Arm strength continues to improve. Actions work and has quick first step, plays with a lot of energy.
