Liam Bowes is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Shoreham, NY who attends Shoreham-Wading River. Medium, square shouldered frame with some strength to frame and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a lower set behind the plate with a wide base, receives the ball out front, high take back with a longer arm action, longer stride through lower half, accurate throws down to second base, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; shifts weight well through lower half and showed good timing. Long swing path through the zone with fluidity to it and gets extended out front, shows looseness to it. Ball comes off the barrel well and shows ability to generate backspin, occasionally gets to front side early with shift, projects well offensively. Named to 14u Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
