Zack Tong is a 2017 2B/RHP/3B with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Mt De Sales Academy. Shorter thick build, strong lower half. Right handed hitter, high hand load, simple stride and shift, short direct swing path and is on plane with the ball well, has some strength in his swing, hits to all fields, lots of line drive contact. Has quick feet on defense and moves to the ball well, second base arm strength. Also pitched, simple compact delivery, works with a good pace and tempo, quick tight arm action from a 3/4's slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, has heavy sinking life and throws his fastball for consistent strikes, curveball still developing. Good student.
