Austin Beeching is a 2018 3B/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Mason, OH who attends Moeller High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.40 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary third basemen, showed clean release, higher arm slot, balanced on the move, and raw arm strength up to 78 mph. At the plate, started with a high hand set, still hand load, and a higher leg lift timing mechanism. Flashed a line drive swing plane with occasional barrel ability. Strength through the point of contact with lower half torque to ball. Will improve at the plate with improved timing of barrel release. Exceptional student.
