Luis Lamarche is a 2016 3B/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Archbishop Carroll. Medium frame with lean, athletic build. Hits from wide base with high hand set, loads cleanly and transfers weight well, makes consistent line drive contact to the pull field with quality overall feel for hitting and bat speed. Shows developing gap power with more to come as he gains strength. Good first step defensively with quality fielding actions, moves well with range to both sides, throws accurately across the diamond with good carry, topping at 77 MPH on throws to 1B. Profiles well as a 3B moving forward. Good student.
