Jackson Kerr is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends Calvert Hall College. Recorded a 7.59 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller, athletic build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Primary shortstop with good footwork through release and natural feel for his attack angles. Present arm strength is evident and was recorded up to 82 mph across the diamond. Lower half works well and through the ball, was very accurate on throws during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a high energy deliver, some deception from a three-quarters slot and ability to command both sides of the plate. Utilizes efficient lower half mechanics and quick, short arm stroke to create some life through the zone with his fastball, mixed in hard biting curveball with downer action to put away hitters. Topped out at 81 mph during outing and will continue to develop more arm strength as he matures. Right-handed hitter with a raw offensive skill set; starts with a high hand set, high back elbow and slightly open stance. Athleticism allows him to make up for a lot of movement during swing while still producing a direct swing path and some gap-to-gap carry. Will continue to improve with refinement of swing mechanics and added strength. Excellent Student. Named to The 2020 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
